To connect with and engage young people and help them find a way forward. Through a focus on personal development, character and academic progress student’s will ignite an inner belief to achieve. Through InspirED, students will re-establish links with education and the wider community.
I have dedicated my career to working with disadvantaged students and my passion centers around improving the life chances of the students in my care. I have taught a wide range of subjects across a number of different settings, worked overseas across 3 continents and just completed my first headship. I am very excited to launch InspirED and embark on the next adventure in my career and continue to work with students who need a little more from adults in their world. I hope InspirED will be able to work with schools and authorities to ensure we allow students to embark on a journey of success and achievement that caters for the individual.
I am a level 3 social worker with 15 years experience working with some of the most vulnerable members of our society and communities.
Although I have experienced a wide range of areas within my profession, working with young people and families who need extra support has always given me the greatest satisfaction.
I am excited to be playing a part in InspirED and can't wait to get started in supporting the young people but just as importantly, supporting the home. The school and family relationship is integral in ensuring our students can engage with our journey and see the impact we hope to achieve.
Woof!
My name is Lexi and I am the apprentice of the team. I am nearly 6 months old and looking forward to working for InspirED and more importantly the young people who come and join us. I am most looking forward to InspirED: Outdoors where I can participate in the adventures but also being available to all the young people when they might need a quiet space or to relax.
I am currently in training to be a certified therapy dog but I am still quite excitable. I have mastered sit, come, leave and down. I am working towards stay, roll over, paw and my show stopper, stand!

I have worked with young people in a variety of educational settings from primary age through to university students for over two decades.
My aim is to always encourage them to develop their resilience and be confident members of society and their communities. Having conducted a variety of research during my MA in Education at Durham University, I have gained a range of experience in how to support and nurture young people, to allow them to reach their full potential.
As a Duke of Edinburgh leader for many years, I am excited to lead the program at InspirED and allow students to embark on a journey of appropriate challenge that pushes them out of their comfort zone.
I have been working in education for over 5 years with a focus on Sport and Physical Education.
My interests outside work include Football, Fitness and Music. My role with InspirED allows me to incorporate my experience, with my interests, to deliver exciting programmes of learning for the young people in our care.
I love my role with InspirED - the diversity of the young people, and the individual qualities and attributes they bring to every learning opportunity ensures every day is rewarding and different.
It is an incredible feeling to see the difference we make on the life chances of those in our care and watching them grow is inspiring.
Having personally experienced the challenges that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs face both at home and in educational settings, I made the decision to retrain to better support other children and their families undergoing similar struggles. My passion lies in cultivating genuine, supportive relationships where students feel safe and empowered, enabling them to build confidence and discover their full potential. It is a privilege to work in a setting where the welfare of the students is the core focus of everything we do.
